Refinishing
All pieces are hand stripped (NOT dipped) sanded, custom matched etc. Special finishes like glazing and gold gilding are available.
Re-upholstery
Old materials are stripped from sofas and chairs,frames are re-glued and springs repaired. New padding and fabric is applied.
Custom Building
We make Sofas, Chairs, Ottomans, Benches, Italian and French antique reproductions. Headboards, Screens, Window seats etc.
For Custom Building
All our frames are kiln and dried Hardwood maple, screwed, glued and doweled. We use sinuous spring in backs and seats,although for additional cost we will construct using 8 way hand tied coil springs for the seats. All our foam seating is hypoallergenic wrapped with Dacron or with a down blend pouch.
We pay special attention to detailing whether it be decorative nail heads or just a piped seam.
